In iPadOS 27, I have a number of tabs open in Safari. Using the iPad with the Magic Keyboard sometimes my mouse cursor strays near another tab while I’m scrolling, A preview of that tab will float appear over top of the page I’m trying to read, This drives me mad. Is there a way to disable this “feature”.
Unfortunately, no, there is not! This has been driving me crazy too, and I’ve even changed my default browser as a result. Related, if you haven’t tried it, I would suggest the Beam browser which is a $5 one time purchase and my new favorite browser on the iPad: vertical tabs!
Beam looks interesting. Strangely there are several Beam Browsers on the AppStore.
The thing I would miss is the ability on my Mac to see the tabs I have open elsewhere. I find many things on iPad/iPhone that I read/deal with on my Mac. I use a pull, not a push system.
Yep and I’m trying it. The thing that will eventually kill me is that it isn’t part of my “iCloud Tab List”, I often find something on iPhone/iPad and then finish on another device.
