Anyone know if iPhones before the 12 hook up to the new MagSafe charger? Or are the internal magnets new this year?
Regardless, I assume that the MagSafe works just like any other wireless charger for iPhones 8-11, right?
The internal magnets are new this year. For older iPhones the MagSafe charger just works like a regular Qi charger (so no magnetic alignment, charges at 7.5w rather than 15w).
