I am setting up a new iPhone 12 and plan to use Quick Start but alternatively I could restore from an iCloud backup. Which method is less prone to data corruption? I wonder if Quick Start is intrinsically reliable, like using Finder to duplicate a file?
My intuition is Quick Start is very reliable and once completed puts the phone in a state that minimizes iCloud problems going forward, but I wonder what my friends at MPU think.
