I’ve been trying to figure out a way to have WiFi & BT switch on/off automatically, when leaving/returning home.
In the end I came up with a shortcut that’s launchable from Launcher. I have no knowledge of LCP but I’m guessing this should be pretty straight forward as well.
What it does:
- When Launcher detects that I leave/return home it’ll prompt me to run the shortcut with a single tap
- The shortcut looks for my home WiFi network
- If WiFi network is detected it will enable BT - otherwise it will disable BT
- Then it looks for if BT state is on = numeric value of 1 = WiFi on, otherwise WiFi off
The last step is useful when leaving home.
When I return home it’s just a redundant action.
I used this way of determining location rather than the current location action since this in some cases is slightly inaccurate.
