Looking to buy a Mac Mini before Golden Gate

DoubleDisk: You mean DiskDoubler?

Depends on the platform they used back then…

(Both were such products)

It’s been so long that memory fails. Now I believe I remember at least in MS-DOS it was called DoubleSpace.

For many years I’ve run a Mac mini as a pure server. Currently I’m using an M1 mini with 8GB RAM and 1TB SSD with 25TB attached. It runs Plex, Resilio Sync (as a local cloud), Backblaze for the house, and some Hazel tasks. It never goes above 50% CPU and normally sits at 50% memory usage. It runs Sequoia.

So a Base M4 mini would actually be overkill!
