M1Macmini problems- solved by Rebooting

My MM arrived, so I’ve Installed the latest OS update, 1Password, then started to install my applications.

The App Store seems to be broken. It shows there are 3 apps which need to be updated, clicking on “Update All” does nothing. Downloads do not begin, no progress nor errors are displayed.

I then attempted to install Remote Desktop and Jump Desktop, but the “GET” icon is not visible. Does this mean the SW is not compatible with Big Sur?

I am guessing / hoping that the second part of the title means that you were able to fix this by rebooting your Mac mini?
