My answer was not to do anything just yet, so not really an answer and I’m no sure I can help.

Instead I’ve been examining my use cases for my Mac, pain points with my current hardware and my usage patterns. More recently looking at Docks and USB-C Displays with a Hub function. So I’ve not purchased a new Mac, but have been looking a the new Air with M3 class SOC.

Cheers, @Derek. It’s a bit of a conundrum. I will try and work with just my Air (disconnecting the mini) for a bit and see how video production goes. It might be fine and I can save $4k. If not, I’m fine spending if it solves the problem.
