So 9th November arrived (yes, some time ago, I know) and I am happy to report that Lightroom is as easy as ever to use with a ‘free subscription’.
Each time I launch it, a nag window appears and I dismiss it, often before any content appears within. Then I carry on with my importing and keywording as I always have.
Can Eagle access photos on Mac (in the photos app)? I’d like to explore if I can use it as a photo management tool for personal images

No Eagle maintains its assets in its own Library, similar to DEVONthink.
I use Eagle mainly for clipart, icons, fonts etc.
My photos I store in the Photos App which Eagle cant access
