Managing an audiobook on iOS

Does anyone know how I can import and audiobook that I have in a mail message into Books on iOS?

I used to do it via iTunes, does that not work for you?

Import them into itunes, sync them as audiobooks and that should still work. does it?

I’m helping my mother do it actually. She doesn’t have a computer. Only iPad. She’s ahead of me. Haha.
