The app is Transit and it is really great for local bus and train info, features real-time GPS and tells you when your stop is approaching, when to disembark, etc. I believe this was the culprit as I’ve tried other transportation apps and haven’t had the same drain.
Transit is a great app, but maybe not for the Watch, eh? Thanks for the heads up!
