I had used Bartender for a few years and found it very helpful, but as noted by others, it does not seem to work with Tahoe. I am getting by with menu bar settings included in Tahoe.
I have a late 2020 iMac with reasonably high specifications. After “upgrading” to Tahoe my computer was initially unusable. The menu bar kept flashing and disappearing and nothing would respond. Restarts did not help so I left my iMac for a couple off hours, after which it had settled down and I could close Bartender. It is now working well, but I get minor issues with keyboard taking longer to respond after start-up.
