Messages on Mac Issues

I’ve been having an intermittent issue with Messages on Mac. It simply decides to quit on its own. I don’t think its a crash since I don’t get the crash dialog box. When I relaunch, it asks for a login then it just spins and spins. This is not the first time it has happened. Two or three times this month.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Edit: BTW a reboot does fix it.

Yep had the same issue, no idea what causes it but periodically happens and a reboot sorts it.

I, too, am having issues with Messages on Mac after this latest round of updates. I’ve tried all the fixes, but nothing works.

Seems to be yet another example of the ongoing downward slide of MacOS quality.
I’m switching to Windows! (Just kidding).
