I had one that the grip/clip at the base got in the way of typing because my wrists would touch the grip.
@supertachyon The moft z looks really interesting. It seems fairly stable. What’s your experience with it?
+1 for keeping a keyboard in both places. Also if possible an external display and cable.
I quite like mine that I got two of these.
They are heavier than they look like, but very stable for what it is. It’s not as heavy as those full aluminium ones, but significantly heavier than something like a Roast stand.
I mostly do NOT use it as a stand desk, but only as a stable and versatile stand for either a laptop or tablet. It’s stable enough for me to write on my iPad Pro 12.9 comfortably in either orientations.
They fold up a champ. I also like storing them in a backpack, while they also act as structure support for my MBA/iPad.
I recommend this one. It works great and is always there when you need it.
