Who as a long time member of this forum has shared much good advice and helped shed light on many an Apple mystery.
I have to agree. I just really can’t get started in engaging in Discord. The interface is so badly designed and garish.
I can’t wait to listen to this! And just as I go on vacation! What delightful timing! Pure joy!
Thanks for taking time to provide such good information, much appreciated. I usually shoot in RAW with my good camera but never think to do so on my iPhone. I need to are a closer look at how to do that and do it more often, though I need to be aware of the impact on iCloud storage. I’ll need to remember to do my editing on the RAW file, reimport to Photos, and then export or delete the original RAW photo in Photos.
I’ve made a note of that, thanks!
Thanks for all of the advice. I also keep RAW files when shooting with my Nikon but I’ve never shot RAW with the iPhone so I do need to experiment. Thanks again, I appreciate your time and advice!

It feels like the forums are just the extension of the cult of productivity systems that have become a lucrative niche for people to teach you how to spend hours saving 1 minute of time. (I would argue it’s not even saving you the one minute, but point stays the same).
Forums are what community members make of them.
Your post seems a bit exaggerated, perhaps to make a point or simply to rile up forum members.
I’m dying to know why you bother to read this forum? ![]()
“rile up” or perhaps encourage a discussion? ![]()

Well then give me some credit for trying to “encourage a discussion.”
I’m still dying to know why the poster bothers to read this forum.
I find that there’s definitely some discussion of productivity systems here, which isn’t something that I’m interested in at all. There also seems to be enough discussion about general Apple topics as well as people seeking and giving help, to keep me coming back pretty much every day.
This forum is a bright spot of civility and community that’s distressingly uncommon out on the Internet and it’s nice to have a community like this, even if not everything being discussed is my cup of tea ![]()
Amen, I couldn’t agree more! Well said.
