New M1 models coming out this year

It looks like my choice to wait for a 2021 MBP may have been a good one. No touchbar (speculation as of now, not confirmed), and hopefully more than 16GB of RAM

That 16" Silicon MacBook Pro with more memory, more ports and MagSafe is my target machine. Got to start squirreling away my loonies and toonies.

Love the direction, but can’t resist saying that it basically means the recreation of the MacBook Pro from 2015. That is 6 years ago:)

The motherboard will be brand new design though, so not a recreation.
Also, 14 & 16 inch models are new form factors.

I refused to give up my 2015 15" MacBook Pro, but will be replacing it with an Apple Silicon MacBook Pro this year, if possible.

Same here. My mid 2012 MBP is slowly burning inside. I’ve bought the M1 Macmini so I would have something temporarily, but will look at the MBPs later.

Obviously that’s true. I thought more about the design and the thinking behind it.
