Precisely my use. I use markdown in Obsidian for PKM, Ulysses for draft documents and presentation notes and then send the drafts to Pages or Word for final formatting, especially when needing citations. And, as suggested earlier in this thread, I will begin to archive all markdown files to an Obsidian vault rather than keeping them in Ulysses. After I got over “paying a subscription” I’ve found Ulysses to be the perfect balance for my needs.
