OneDrive Web Backup

hey MPU,

I feel this should be easy enough, but it’s not. Someone shared a OneDrive folder with me and gave me access. I want to make a backup of that folder to my NAS or B2. I do not have OneDrive installed on my mac, I use the web version because the data is too much.

Is there a way to do that?

There may be an app you can install on your NAS that syncs data between it and OneDrive.

Check this out:

Another possibility: plug in an old Mac with enough space, install OneDrive, sync that local folder to NAS.

Do you just have a link to their folder on OneDrive (in which case Transmit and similar clients like CyberDuck will not work), or do you actually see these files synced to your OneDrive (have a look on the OneDrive website)?

If it’s the latter, and you’re using Synology, then Cloud Sync might work. It can sync any cloud storage to NAS (using one-directional or bidirectional sync).

Depending on the version of OneDrive, this may help using what you have.

It’s a link to their folder in OneDrive, it’s not in my actual OneDrive. After digging on the website. It’s a Sharepoint folder (OneDrive Business). @cornchip the Sharepoint is currently holding 10TB of data
