Pinch to zoom as an idiom

I just heard an engineer with the state Department of Transportation use “pinch in” and “pinch out” as an idiom for shifting snowplow drivers to respond to localized weather or statewide snowstorms this winter. Interesting how an Apple UI convention has entered the lexicon in areas not at all related to tech.

That is interesting! That got me thinking, am I the only one who has tried to pinch and zoom a piece of paper or print book when I can’t see it? It’s comical but the gesture is becoming automatic, which is kinda weird for someone born and raised in a mostly analog world.

That’s common-place, and fascinating to me!
My wife and I have been known to do it, and we’re approaching 50.

I’ve been known to swipe up or down…
Or think about tapping a word to get a proper definition…

I’ve done it and sometimes get extremely frustrated with printed media for not having the option :joy:

I just want to be able to undo when I’m writing on paper man  and moving my handwriting around like on the Notes app would be sick too.
