PowerBeats firing up Music instead of pausing ...?

Listening to Overcast on my MacBook. I click the PowerBeats Pro middle button, which would pause on the iPhone. The MacBook, ever so helpfully, fires up Music and begins playing songs. Of course Overcast is still playing, so this is super-fun. :slight_smile:

Is there a way in the system - or maybe with a little third party app of some sort - to manage what that clickable button does? It’s cool if it doesn’t pause Overcast. It would just be nice if it didn’t try to manage Music. :slight_smile:

It’s the same with the play / pause button on the function keys.
I think it’s probably something to do with it being an iOS app and not capturing or having the events passed.

I can see that. I’d almost just like it to not do anything at all, rather than doing something thoroughly unexpected.

Or I suppose I could just cave in, junk Overcast, and switch to Apple Podcasts. Wait…I just looked. I’d forgotten just how bad Apple Podcasts is. :smiley:
