Preview works well for viewing and making simple changes and annotations to PDF files. However, selection of individual pages in Preview’s side bar is difficult because the highlight-border for selected pages is almost invisible. See screenshots below.
When the Preview window is the “active” window, the selected page of a PDF file looks like this:
When the Preview window is not the “active” window (in other words - when you mouse-click outside of the Preview window), the selected page of a PDF file is much more conspicuous in the sidebar. The highlight-border is darker:
Is it possible to change the appearance of the highlight-border of the selected page in the side bar to be more conspicuous when Preview is the active window? In other words, when you are actually working in that Preview window?
