I really enjoy the benefits of promotion on the iPhone, even for text based workflows it’s just more readable.
My assumption is if I got a 120mphz comparable monitor (most appear to be geared at gamers) I could get the same benefits on my Mac.
Is this true? Want to reality check that assumption before I drop a lot on a new monitor.

I’ve also been wondering if the ProMotion Macs will drive an external display at refresh rates higher than 60Hz. I’m also wondering if dynamic refresh rates are compatible with external displays or if that’s an Apple “ProMotion” thing that displays wouldn’t work with.
At the very least, it wouldn’t work with HDMI at rates over 60Hz.
