Quick question for Things users: is it possible to amend the competed date of a task? On both iOS and Mac? Thanks.
AFAIK, only sort of.
If you have a completed task in the Logbook, you can mark it as incomplete which will delete the completed date for that task. You can then mark it complete again. This updates the completed date/time to now. But I’m not aware of a way to, say, change something marked as complete today to have a completion date of a week ago.

You can use their URL scheme to update a task’s completed date. I have a shortcut to do this and a Keyboard Maestro macro to do it on the Mac. The Shortcuts version is nerdy and a little obtuse to use. It works better on the Mac.
