I used to store them in Journler but that no longer exists instead I transferred all my quotes (not only those from the Internet) into a Scrivener Project. Inspired by some example of what people have done with Obsidian and plugins I might try to replicate Journler’s functionality/presentation in Obsidian.
Wow! I haven’t seen mention of that in a very long time. I was a beta tester for Journler and loved it 
I use markdown files for individual quotes.
