Run shortcut when I get a notification

Is it possible to run a shortcut based on an app creating a notification?

Basically I have a cat feeder that has an iPhone app, and it sends a notification when he eats (and how much he ate). I thought it would be fun if it I ran a shortcut that set a scene that flashed one of our lamps when he ate! I’m sure there are more useful applications but wanted to test the possibilities.

The pet feeder app does not come with any Shortcuts support unfortunately.

I don’t think this is possible.
Can the app do anything else, like send a text or an email? If so, that might be automatable.
What is the feeder, by the way?

I thought as much. And no, sadly no email / text support, just iPhone notifications.
