Screen recording for iPad

Hi All,

I use an older iPad Air 2, and I’m looking for a way to record the screen. Basically, I have a webinar that I’ll be taking part in next week and they’ve informed us they won’t be recording it. Is there a way I can record my participation to refer back to at a later date? The webinar is proposed to go for 2 hours.

That’s a default feature in iOS 11: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207935

You can connect it to a Mac by USB cable. Launch QuickTime and choose to create a new recording which you can then instruct to record the iPad screen.

You can also achieve something similar using AirPlay and some software such as Reflector http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ to receive the stream and record it.
