I just noticed that Screens keeps the connection open to my iMac from the iPad in the background in iPadOS 14. It’s been able to keep up the connection for at least 30 minutes now. (on iPadOS13 it would quit after a few minutes)
Has anyone else seen improvements in that area?
I happen to be using Screens on my iPad this morning. Just reopened it and it had to reconnect after about 17 minutes. However, I suspect this has at least as much to do with demands for RAM from other apps as it does elapsed time.
Going to time my connection, see what it does.
Even 17 minutes is a lot longer than previously.
