I was using a DVI-to-MiniDisplayPort adapter to use a 20" Apple Cinema Display as a second display for my iMac, worked fine.
Recently I acquired a iMac Pro and I would like to use the Apple Cinema Display in the same way as before. I got a Cable Matters “USB type-C to DVI Adapter” from Amazon but it doesn’t work. Specifically, the display will come on for about 5 seconds and then turn off again for about 10 seconds, ad infinitum.
Does anyone know of an adapter that will work?
