I’ve been working on a Shortcut to automate my workflow and wanted to share it with the community. I originally built this for Reminders, but it should theoretically work with almost any app.
What it does:
The shortcut scans your tasks based on a custom dictionary of action verbs (or any keywords you choose) and automatically assigns the corresponding tag.
Key Features:
- Smart Tagging: Automatically tags tasks based on the language you use.
- Date Recognition: It includes a section to detect and process dates within the task string.
Currently, I’m just using simple action verbs, but I think an AI could actually rebuild your dictionary for you. By analyzing your completed tasks, it could identify your personal vocabulary and tagging habits to make the whole thing even more tailored.
I’m pretty happy with where it is, but I’d love to take it to the next level. I’m looking for some feedback from the power users here.
