I updated my laptop to Monterey and was eager to try out shortcuts. A few of my shortcuts needed work, most of the others went off with out a hitch. One shortcut in particular is critical for me, and I cannot make it work as it does in iOS.
The shortcut has a step where a markdown formatted text field is changed to rich text and then emailed. This works perfectly on my iPad. But on the Mac, I get all of the rich text formatting codes in the body of the email.
I put together a small shortcut which illustrates the problem.

I am beginning to think that maybe I need to set up mail app differently, but I haven’t a clue of where to look for the setting to change this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
