Show file extension type in iOS Files App

Is there a way to show file extensions in the Files app? I know you can tap the file then choose “Info” to see the extention but I want to see the extension as part of the file name.

If I have a folder with a bunch of files that all have the same name but are different file types, it’s important to have the extention shown.

It would be a little redundant to have to start naming files with the extension in the name like, ImageJPG.jpg, ImagePSD.psd, ImageGIF.gif, etc.

The most common scenario is when I have a pages document and a pdf with the same name. I want to email the pdf, but I have to open it or get info first and it’s a slow workflow on iOS.
