Simple Timeline Software

When I used to use a Windows machine for work I had MS Visio installed and was able to create quick and simple timlines (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-a-timeline-in-visio-49902c25-587d-4b81-98f3-124485bf8083). The key feature was that I could enter a milestone and type in the date and Visio would position on the diagram correctly. This is a powerful feature.

I cannot find anything similar for the Mac at all. I have looked at LibreOffice Draw, Draw.io and others. Any suggestions?

Omnigraffle is the closest I’ve found on Mac to Visio. It even imports and exports well to Visio.
