I am so new to shortcuts I don’t even qualify as a newbie 
. With that pointed out, I have set Siri to turn on my IPhone flashlight with a command, (sure like for that to work WITHOUT having to press the home button), but any how, attached is a screen shot of what I get. Eventually the light comes on. Interesting 
How good is your internet connection when this happens?
I had something similar happen with my Echo Dot - turns out I’d changed the WiFi connection so it connected to the main router instead of the closer, slower extender and it couldn’t properly negotiate the connection.
Good points y’all, and to answer how heavily used is my internet connection; maxed out.
