I still don’t understand how slide over works. I put apps in slide over and then they disappear. For example, I have 1Password and Messages in Slide Over. But sometimes when I display the slide over apps, the Messages app will not be in the stack of apps, just 1Password. When and why does the list of apps in slide over change?
It seems that if an app is in slide over but then is activated at full screen or put into split screen, perhaps pulled up from the dock, it will disappear from slide over.

OK, I experimented with using Messages in full screen and it disappears from slide over. Sorry Apple, but that’s really dumb.
