I’ve spent most of my life trying to avoid being a nerd. I had no idea I succeeded completely when I bought a Mac in 2007. Go me!

Thanks to everyone. Very therapeutic. My actual response was simply, “Well, my Mac does exactly what I need it to do.” Period.

You can also tell him that when he grows up enough to go to the conferences that we grown-up nerds go to, he’ll find that everybody uses Macs

When it comes to Apple laptops, now that they are basically unrepairable appliances, I’m afraid they no longer live up to that reputation.
