So you think your router is secure?

Back in the 1980’s when one had to manually enter the bad sectors and drives were very dumb devices, Spinrite was fantastic even if it did have that snake oil element. But then the hard drives became more sophisticated. I’ve no idea what the program does now. Anyway, I’m no longer desperate to bring back hard drives from the dead.

I purchased a copy of SpinRite 6 many years ago and used it at least 4 or 5 times on multiple WinXP & Win7 machines that failed to boot. As I recall, it worked on all but one of the machines.

Can’t speak to any of it’s other features.
