I don’t play computer games and have zero interest in them. I don’t and haven’t purchased games from the App store, yet, every time I open the App Store app I’m confronted with this:
Anyway to change this behavior? I suspect the answer is no, but it cost nothing to ask. 
They are making a huge, I mean really a huge, amount of money by selling games with “In-App-Purchases”.
So, NO, you would have most probably no chance to get rid of it…
I figured as much—I just feel better asking—it is how I “rant”.
I just immediately tap on Apps in the bottom row of icons.
I suspect what appears has more to do with developers paying Apple for product placement than it has with anything else. The Games market depends more on advertising, and makes more money, so more games get placed.
I find it annoying, but I can’t see it changing anytime soon.
