I’m wanting to set up a time machine server on an external HDD hanging off of my iMac for my house’s MBP. I’m following @ismh guide to setting up a time machine server. My question is when setting this up do all user profiles have to direct their time machine backup to the time machine server or is this a device level setting?
Yep; Time Machine is universal.
