I remember Epsilon from back in the 80s when everything was running under MSDOS. I’m glad to see that it’s still being maintained!!
Off all the note apps, still finding it challenging to achieve the following:
• Centralized database ideally stored on self hosted webdav
• Ability to see titles & organization, and download a note (not entire database) on demand.
• Exporting photos from iPhone and then deleting said photos from iPhone after successfully
stored in centralized database (ideally photos are auto deleted like many apps do these days…well, automatically moved to deleted folder which is fine, works.)
KeepIt seems to do the trick if it wasn’t so closely embedded with iCloud making it a non-starter.
Too many Notes apps, and I still haven’t found one I like.
Wait until you see NVUltra…
Are you in on the private beta?
Nope. I’m a happy user of FSNotes.
NVUltra, and in particular all it’s announcements, is a joke IMHO.
Tony, have you tried Agenda? It’s pretty pliable.

GoodNotes
- Byword (beautiful markdown editor for journaling, notes, capturing text from the web)
- TextSoap (not an editor but a tool to manipulate text in-place)
- TextEdit (for working with rich text files occasionally)
- BBEdit (for any and everything else)
I have a license for BBEdit, but I just use it as a scratch pad. I haven’t really learned any of its power.
