Turn auto brightness on and off

Hi all,

I have some game apps that I like to run in full brightness. I have a Shortcut that runs to set brightness to full when I open the app.

What I would like is when I close the app, or open another app, that the brightness returns to the auto brightness setting. I currently achieve this by going into Settings, turning auto brightness off and on again, which is a bit of a pain!

Is there an automated way to do this?

Check out Shortcuts automations. There’s an option to run a shortcut when an app open - might solve your problem :blush:

It allows me to set the brightness to a specified brightness, but not auto brightness as far as I can see.
