Currently using this LG with my iMac Pro via a usb-c to DisplayPort adapter (links below). HDMI is limited to 30Hz refresh rate, so I use the DisplayPort on the monitor for full 60 Hz refresh rate.
I recently switched from dual 24” monitors to a single 27” 4K monitor and am much happier with the quality of text and graphics. Used with my 2015 rMBP, and a Mini DisplayPort To DisplayPort cable for 60Hz refresh rate.
How nice, they are currently marked down.

I find the Tunderbolt 3 / USB-C terminology to be kind of ambiguous. Anyone have experience with or opinions on whether this cable/adapter will work at 60Hz and 4K?
