Weird Ink behavior in MS Word on iPad Pro

I wanted to try using the Pencil with Ink (drawing) to mark up a document in Word on a new 12.9" iPad Pro. Every time I would markup a page, the ink would disappear from that page and move itself to land on the first page in the document. I tried this with a few documents – same effect.

Well, that’s not very useful. Has anyone managed to make ink with the Pencil 2 work in Word on the current generation of iPad Pro? Pencil is working fine in other apps, so maybe it’s just a Word bug.

I have not seen the same issue as you are describing, but agree that MS needs to work on their ink engine. My main problem is the almost total lack of palm rejection. (Think I have received an update since using the feature last, so it might welll be a newly introduced bug.)
