I use Magic Lasso Pro in addition to Banish and StopTheMadness Pro. I believe all three have free “lite” versions.
I like what magic lasso does for me. About ½ the time they even block YouTube ads. (It varies day by day).
I’ve used 1blocker but it seemed so invasive to the computer. It has so much going on.
I’ve done a bit of experimenting with a pihole. Not really enough of an honest chance.
I like being able to quickly turn off the ad blocking if a site seems broken.
An annoying part about using an ad blocker, AND stop the madness, AND some other website improvement tool, is when it’s broken you don’t know which of the things has broken the website.
+1 for everything you wrote! Specifically, I’ve been having problems with 1Blocker VPN for months.

I’m happy with the free version of Adguard as well.
