What is this piece of hardware?

Sorry it took me so long to respond.

I’ll do a quick write-up here. Let me know if there is something I’ve missed, or you need help with. I’m sure there are more ‘clever’ ways to do it, but it works… so :slight_smile:

It all starts with this Keyboard Maestro Macro:

  1. count down the percent bar if I’m not idle

    If I’ve been idle for less than 50 seconds then update the icon, and adjust stand_timer_percent ‘down’ 5% until it hits zero, then alert.
    else (else I am idle) start to ‘recharge’ my stand_timer

  2. recharge my timer when I am idle

Elgato Stream Deck.

I just picked up the 32 key version after hearing Macsparkey talk about it several times, and am astounded by just how great this device is, especially when using it with Keyboard Maestro.

I’m coming up with all sorts of automations for managing emails, Photoshop, Lightroom, Finder, Safari, etc. Worth every penny. I look forward to more info in a future show.

Oh my gosh, KM can change the icons on the fly?

I’m not going to sleep well tonight…

I’ve tried it and paid for a year’s subscription it shows so much promise. Too bad they don’t do a proper iPad version.
