Of course, it’s possible something I did wrong and not the ScanSnap Home software, but…
I have been using my ScanSnap ix500 connected via USB. I decided to move it to a wireless connection so I could relocate it without worrying about USB extension cords.
For whatever reason, this seems to have made my scanning profile disappear and the profiles and settings were all back to a de novo install.
Thankfully my standard profile is straightforward and easy to recreate so I just did that instead of diving into the Library folders to see if the old settings could be recovered. Still, why does ScanSnap Home do stupid things like this?
