I enjoyed this podcast, much more than I anticipated! I was impressed with Haemin Sunim’s character; he seemed very open and honest and not arrogant at all. I bought and read his book, then bought his prior book.
There was so much good in them, especially his latest book. I think I highlighted about half the book, and “loved” about half of those, and set his highlights to get frequent play on my Readwise reviews.
I’ve also found his book to inspire lots of potential and actual blog posts. He has a way of looking at things that is in one way obvious, but not. I also found the many similarities between Buddhist thought and Stoicism to be fascinating. Also, lots of thoughts on how to become a better person, and thoughts that frankly made me uncomfortable in a good way.
Anyway, thanks for this episode and my introduction to Haemin Sunim.
