(15ish minute mark) Talking about intentionally giving yourself more time than need for project always reminds me oh this scene from Star Trek, where Scotty tells Gordi if he wants to look like a miracle worker he can’t give the Captain the right amount of time to fix something.
That’s one of my favorite episodes of TNG, and I’m pretty sure it was my introduction to padding estimates as a kid. 
On another note, did anyone else partake of Ugmonk’s warehouse sale? I’m in Canada, so add another roughly 30% for shipping and duties, so unless it’s on sale, I can’t justify the cost, but like Mike, I bought from the scratch and dent sale, and I’ll be darned if I can find any flaws. absolutely beautiful.
Got the large monitor stand (using it as a shelf for the 1950’s kitchen table I use as a desk) and a headphone stand. So happy. Have also switched to the Next Analog cards from the Today, as they are fountain pen friendly and match the paper used in the Week cards. Matches the “white” Gather colour perfectly. So does the Miir camp cup I use as a pencil cup, oddly, so bonus! Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else had perfect “scratch and dent” products delivered.
