I don’t think that these are directly comparable. Those 7470 tabs aren’t loaded. The content in Edge tabs is loaded.
I currently have 96 tabs open and loaded in Firefox and they’re using 22.8GB (yes, I know that I have a problem) .
Firefox does a better job of unloading them when they’re not being used?
Inactive tabs go to sleep automatically to conserve memory in all the standard desktop browsers as far as I know. I don’t think there’s anything special in Firefox in this regard.
