For those of you who are worrying about sleeping with your Apple Watch and keeping it charged (that is you @MacSparky ). My solution has been to have a daytime and nighttime watch. My Ultra 1 is my companion during the day and I have my first Series 4 Apple Watch that I wear at night. Has been a great solution for me that works really well. Probably will have to replace the Series 4 since it will not get iOS 18, but I can likely find an inexpensive Series 7 somewhere.
Interesting. I’ve considered buying a second watch dedicated to exercise just to avoid changing watch bands because I hate having to do that so much. (My everyday band does not do well with getting drenched during cycling workouts.)
For now, though, I wear my watch during the day and an Oura ring at night.
I take mine off to charge 90 minutes before bedtime. I give it a boost again while I get dressed in the morning, although it doesn’t seem to need it.
I often get accused of costing listeners too much money. Let me just say that too often, it goes the other direction. Now I’m shopping.
@MacSparky, do you mind sharing which UPS you picked up? I need one for our Verizon fiber optic box and then one for the modem and router (so two in separate rooms!)
Related, but I guess it’s probably a bad idea to keep a UPS in an enclosed space, right?
