Looking forward to this one. I quit listening to the Verge after the dovetail into politics, but I love David Pierce.

This is an awesome crossover!

That was interesting! David’s enthusiasm is uplifting.

This was a great listen.

David is one of my favorite podcasters (and his partner-in-crime Nilay Patel is another one). I’m looking forward to listening to this one.

David gives me hope that a person can be a habitual app-switcher and still lead a meaningful life.

Energy levels at the highest. A great listen.

habitual app-switcher and still lead a meaningful life.

I thought app-switching made life meaningful.

Yeah, David Pierce is my spirit animal. Never have I agreed with a guest more. iPad Air is the best iPad unless you know you are a mini guy. Also Blue iPhones are the best iPhone. Also if you are a regular Vergecast listener he has feelings on E-ink.

I read that word phonetically, and said to myself, “Eye-nk”? What is “eye-nk”? I need to google that.

And then I said, “Ooh, ee-ink. Got it.”

I had the flu last week and I guess I’m still dealing with brain fog.

I still can’t be convinced to get a Boox Palma, despite Pierce’s proseletyzing. I already read ebooks on my phone. I am thinking about getting a Kindle-sized epaper Android tablet like the Supernote or a bigger Boox.

Shall Edit for better clarity.

I was really considering the Boox Palma for the longest time but decided against when you combine the factors of it being older android versions and it is a Chinese Brand and all the things we get heartburn over TikTok for. Also, having full Android means its not quite the focus device I really want.

Just got a 10 inch Kobo and I really really like it. They seem to be the brand that would experiment on a Smartphone Sized reader now that the Boox Palma has been making headway.

I agree. When my 2020 iPad Pro killed itself, by diving into a hearth, I purchased an M2 iPad Air. And by the time I finished setting it up I couldn’t tell the difference in its screen or its performance.
