an interesting definition of the word ā€˜obscure’ here, bartender? craft?

Plenty on the list that I’m not familiar with. Excited to dig into this episode!

Choclift looks really nice. But I’ve been using Alfred Remote for years now; I have my iPad in front of my keyboard and several pages for different apps. Just thought I’d mention it since I know there’s a lot of Alfred users here.

Just bought Inset- can definitely use that!
It was $4.00 US. I got off cheap this week!

Did any one catch the ā€œcaptureā€ app that Stephen mentioned? I didn’t see it it the show notes.

It was Quick Notes: ā€ŽQuick Notes - Capture App - App Store

Dodged a bullet. No app purchases for me.

It is great fun and I can see useful, especially for shortcuts. It is also Ā£/$/€ 36 per year for more than 8 apps (but no shortcuts). Another app where I can not see the justification of a subscription.

Groovy. Thanks so much

Agreed, Choclift does look fun.
Alfred Remote is all one time purchases; power pack and $5 for the remote app.

I was a little curious about the Capture app. However, when I went to the developer website, there was absolutely no info except a link to the app stores. Am I missing something?

Was this the episode where Stephen mentioned having a shortcut to pull all URLs from a newsletter? I don’t remember if he said it was available, though.

Or was that another episode?

Also, yeah, I think I got out of this one with no purchases, too!

How is this episode? Are there many non-subscription apps ? if so, I might give it s listen!

There have been too many (for me) subscription apps in previous ā€œappā€ episodes, so I just skip them.

Have you considered reading the shownotes for the episode? They often contain clues to the topics and products discussed in the episode.

Some big ones sure, but hopefully we shared some you hadn’t heard of!

It’s a fun and useful tool!

Darkwing got the right one, sorry for the delay!

Not sure when I mentioned this, but I love the idea! Are you thinking running from the share sheet or something else?

Tried to highlight some that are one-time purchase (like inset) and many that are very usable on the free version (Choclift, Capture, etc)
